Love Story Without End
Work should bring pleasure! It all began with an idea for a shooting in one beautiful place. The bride wanted a photo session in Manhattan, but I suggested another option and it was a wining one! For a long time I’ve been thinking to shoot a “Love Story” in Dumbo park, so we decided to start near the Manhattan bridge and then move on to the designated place.
On Sunday morning I got up at 5 am, at 6 we were sitting in the car and going for coffee! I already knew the exact address so we quickly reached the desired place and started shooting. We did a test shot and found the desired position.Special attention was given to her dress and how to make it float.

After making the first shots, I realized that each of them is awesome. Our beloved ones were dancing and kissing! They were relaxed and looked very beautiful. When the model is relaxed and moves naturally, the resulting pictures are always stunning.

Our lovers instantly did the things that I asked them to do and had a lot of fun at the same time! Since the light was the perfect, I've made some great portraits.

Next, we went under the bridge itself. The streets were empty and the sun was not to bright yet, so our photo session became a pleasurable promenade! We wanted to get on the lawn under the bridge, but it was closed, so we went on the chosen route, moving closer to the carousel. We stopped near the water and made a couple of shots on the stairs.

We did not like this place and I suggested to move on. We came to the carousel, walked around it, found a suitable spot and started shooting. First, I made a couple of shots of them together, and then I started shooting the girl alone. The wind picked up her dress and I was able to capture some amazing moments:

Next we went to the park itself. Seeking shade under the trees, we found a perfect meadow with a wonderful view. It was getting very hot already. To this point we were shooting for 2 hours.
While our groom relaxed on a bench, I made some great shots of his beloved one.

To this moment I already knew what they want to see in result and I enjoyed the moments when they smiled while looking through the photos. After a small break, they reunited and we made more beautiful shots.

We then came closer to the water where we enjoyed the last minutes of the photo session.

The whole shooting lasted for a little more than 3 hours. In result, we had more than 100 awesome photos. I heard how delighted they were after seeing so many beautiful pictures.
The most crucial part of such photo session is to have a good knowledge of the route and to use the right equipment (here I used 85mm F1.8 and 24-70mm F2.8). Also, being relaxed is a must!
I had a great time during this photo set and enjoyed every shot!
Many thanks to our amazing models!
